The investing diaries - January 5, 2021
The UK is locking back down and the market had it's “worst” start since 2016! Well it appears that CNBC has already started my morning coffee with a replay if 2020, mutations traveling to NY in a man with no travel history. My oh my it seems that the record could be on repeat. Or is it?
Well either way I continue to feel more an more ready for whatever comes after the 2020 that we all faced together. Remember in March when we held (hopefully) through the drop then purchased (more hopefully) when stocks were at lows and people were running for cash? Well I don't know if that will happen again but I know I now have a stomach for it and mentally my mind can handle the stress.
So what am I doing right now as we enter this 2021? Well first off I am rambling in the journal post and second I am LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITY!
Opportunities can be found at anytime in any market and I am continuing to search for them. The search for the elusive ten-bagger is a never-ending search that sometimes feels like the search for Aztec gold, but for those of you that are like me it is the journey that is more valuable than the destination.
I have a few companies in mind right now that I think have the potential and am researching daily to find more. Investing is and should be fun for everyone and I for sure am looking forward to this year and what it entails.
Until next time, happy investing!
