Who Am I and Why Am I Here?

Welcome to 2kHedgeFund! I am very excited for you all to be a part of a revolution against the financial institutions that continue to take profits from the pockets of hard working men and women that trust them with their investments. With your help we can change this way of thinking and help everyone reach financial freedom!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:

The market has always been a part of my life. I can attribute this to my grandmother who had me interested by age 13 and helped me sign up on Yahoo! to play against others in market contests. She was a long term value investor and instilled in me the same mindset. I recently found a contest print out from when I was 14 and it had a 20% return! If only I could go be that guy again!

I currently reside on the Gulf Coast of sunny Florida and although my full time profession is not in financials I spend most of my free time between a kayak and a 10K. I truly enjoy the market, a daily problem that needs to be solved, a puzzle with an infinite amount of pieces.

I started this website with Collin in an effort to educate people about how they can break out from their financial advisers. There is no better time than now to learn enough that you can safely do without paying fees to people that are not guaranteed to beat the market. The world is trending in the other direction (seen by the influx of money into ETFs) and people are more conscious about the market than ever.
